I started using 3DS Max 2010 trial version a few days back and I have a problem with the unwrap button. Whenever I press the unwrap button, I get a licensing error displayed. I checked and verified that I have a valid trial license and I am well within the 14 day trial period. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling a couple of times and this did not improve my situation any further. I have been trying to install 3DS Max 2011 on my windows XP SP2 machine for about a dozen times now without any luck. Every time I attempt to install, I get this error message telling me that some of the components could not be updated now and that I should try again after rebooting. I have been attempting to import a Maya Binary file into keyshot and am not allowed to so as Keyshot reports a Maya installation could not be found. Why is this being asked? I tried importing a couple of times but still I get this error. Is it necessary to have Maya 2011 or 2012 or 2013 version installed before importing a Maya file? We are having some trouble with the AutoCAD 2010 software installed on our computers. It fails to work on all three computers we tried installing. As soon as you open a DWG drawing, the application simply crashes reporting ‘an unhandled access violation’ even if no other action is performed.
