I have been playing around with Excel a few days. It is really a nice tool. I can do a lot of calculations here with less effort. I have also heard that it is possible to do some programming with excel too. So i thought i will try.

Here is what I want to do first.

My present sheet has 7 columns each are having a value (cash amount) in each of them. The 8th column holds the following equation:

=SUM(A1:C1)/3+SUM(D1:E1)/2+F1+G1              

So it gives the summation of the left 7 columns. The equation changes from A1 to A25 , depending on the row number.

I am a user of MS XP professional edition and I am facing an issue of spyware. In fact, a few months ago I had purchased a product named, Lenovo ThinkPad T61 and I installed AVG Antivirus professional, along with Microsoft Windows defender (registered).

However, from the first day, I have been facing a problem. The advert pages appear in my browser continuously. The window which appears is usually for a reasonably credible advert like eBay, Walmart etc. Also the title at the top of the advert pages screens always use to begin with a specific symbol.

I am running XP service pack 2 and having a critical issue while using it. The issue which has occurred to me is that I cannot restore my PC to any previous restore point. Whenever, I want to restore via restore wizard it starts to restore but in the end computer gives a message that no change has been made. I have tried this particular trick at several restore points but none of them was restored successfully.

To solve this problem I have de-fragmented my local disk C already but no gain. I also have fixed my windows registry...

I have started to have an issue with my wireless connection. Actually, I have the Wireless on my laptop and it is not been able to find the wireless connections around me. Whereas, I am still able to use them properly on other devices such as my cell phone etc.

I'm having this new problem with web browser connection on my Sony Vaio LP. Everything is good, I can even use it in chatting, no changes are made except for the automatic updates have installed for Vista and an updates for Windows Defender.

Internet works fine with using Safari, Chrome, online game and etc. . However, both IE and Mozilla acts like my laptop is not connected to the Internet.

I've tried resetting both the winsock and TCP/IP stack, the system still cannot connect via HTTP. Also tried installing all updates available via Windows Update, resetting IE...

My motherboard is Zebronics 845 and I am having an issue with my motherboard. The issue which I am facing is, when I use to start the system, keyboard stops working after few minutes or some time a key in my keyboard keeps pressed itself repeatedly. Even if I want to shutdown my system in this situation, the "power down" error message dialog appears and system gets hanged instead of shutting-down.

When I start the PC immediately, the PC hangs at start-up, whereas if I start it after some hours it starts fine but again the keyboard either...

Using Windows XP I was about to send an email but files are on the Windows 7 drive. So, I access WIn7 Drive and My PC suddenly shut, so I had powered it off.

I have an Excel application that is just a simple crude database for my coffee shop. There is a form which takes order and prints the Receipt. We have 3 types of coffee in the shop and we are increasing. Currently, in the form we have to add the whole name “Black” , “Light”,  in the type field to create the receipt properly.
