I have a web application that requires to read a shared Excel sheet that is hosted on a network share. This network share is located in another machine. I can manually access the network share, but when I attempt to access it via the source code, I get an "access denied" error message. Why is this and how do I fix this?

I have an Apache server running on my local. When I type local host on my browser I can see the "It works" page. But when I give my IP to other people they can't see a thing, says server not found.

How do I solve this?

I am doing a project for my final year thesis. The prototype involves accumulating search results from different search engines into one web page. Recently I've purchased an Apple MacBook Air 2.8. I've lots of content in my iTunes. From a few days, I'm thinking to restore Windows in my Mac afresh. If I restore Windows newly, my all-existing content will be deleted. That is why I want to backup my all iTunes content. I don't know the proper procedure to backup and also I'm a sound engineer. I have lot's of musical content in iTunes. I just don't want to lost it. Please someone help me to backup my all contents. Thanks.

I use a thermal monitoring program and it started to show something disturbing for two days. It says the CPU temperature is 116C. When I play games, it crashes sometimes and after the crash, I see that weird reading. Is it the program that is showing wrong reading or is it really the GPU?

I recently reformatted my pc and re-installed windows. Everything is running smoothly now except there is absolutely no sound coming out. I went to the sound controls and the options are all greyed out.

I enabled windows forms based authentication for my website. After enabling windows forms based authentication, some of the images and colors of the website page got lost! When I disabled the authentication mechanism, the images and colors come back again.

I have no idea why! Can somebody explain this situation to me?

I'm working in a AD firm and using CISCO switch for our network. Recently we have purchased Cisco 2960 series switch. I’ve tried myself to assign static IP on switch but failed. For your information we are using Mac address. Is there anyone to instruct me, how can I can assign IP address in Cisco switch?

I am loading up a Linux server from scratch. I have downloaded the latest stable release of MySQL.

When installing MySQL Server, by default, I noticed that the MySQL installation on Linux places the location at /var/lib/ folder.

I do not want to use the /var/lib folder. I have a separate partition that I wish to use for MySQL data files.

Is there a way to change the default data file location?
