I'm working in an AD firm and using CISCO switch for our network. Recently we have purchased Cisco 2960 series switch. I’ve tried myself to assign static IP on switch but failed. For your information we are using Mac address. Is there anyone to instruct me, how can I assign IP address in Cisco switch?

What can I do to make my computer start faster? It takes two to three minutes. It used to take, about twenty seconds before. I leave it on, all the time now and just put it in hibernated mode so I don't have to wait. However, even this has become slow. Any suggestions would be most helpful!

I can't access Public drive from my computer. I've enabled sharing and even tried to change the security for them. I get an error message when trying to change the owner shop, but all the sharing options are checked, whenever I'm trying to access in public it's showing an error message. Does anyone have any idea to recover it.

I recently started to learn programming in .Net. I have visual studio installed. I have heard that you can connect and explore any database within Visual Studio. I am yet to find out how. I need to connect to a SQL Server database that is running on a different machine. I had configured my WiFi base station in our office and there was no problem. Last week, suddenly we experienced that we were not getting radio connectivity in our Mac's. So I reset the WiFi base station again, but it won't work. I don't know what happened. I tried in different ways but still there is no signal. If anyone has any solutions, then please let me know.
