I am currently re-organizing my Active Directory.

I am generating OU's for each department that has users, and the computers will substitute the OU's for each.

If I link a new computer to the domain, can I systematize a certain computer account and have it created in a specific OU?

And do I even have to do that?

I have two different offices and I like to separate the computers in each office and department.

Transferring the computer itself is an option but I want to avoid doing that as much as possible.

Any suggestions or opinions please?

I have been trying to sync the User Information of Active Directory with OpenLDAP. Currently, I am looking for these:

a) All of the users added to Active Directory will automatically be added to OpenLDAP as well as all of the modified passwords. OpenLDAP will be used for System Authentication in Linux.

b) All of the users added to OpenLDAP will also be automatically added to Active Directory together with the credentials and modified passwords.

I have been exploring the internet on how I can do this but unfortunately I could not find any answers. Any kind of help will be much...

I want to restrict my user in using only two folders in a certain drive. For example, I just want him to have an access in drive D where there will is only 2 folders; 1 FINAL and 1 WIP. I want to add some restriction on these two folders especially the Final folder.

I also want the following to happen:

a) The user should not have any permission or control in deleting the folder.

b) One problem is he could not overwrite the file. Every time he would try saving the file in Final folder, he could save it initially but...

My AVG 9.0 free version has an email scanner which scans my Microsoft Outlook. How do I change this setting? My current OS is Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 3. I am using AVG 9.0 and the Windows Firewall for security. Thanks in advance.

My Outlook Express 6.0 has been eliminating my inbox and all the folders I created. I want to know the reason why because this has not happened before. I bet some settings have been change, but I could not find anything in Outlook that concerns with this one. Does anyone have any idea? Thanks!

My hard drive is not working.

I'm having problem in my Outlook Express 2003. Few days ago, I can still be able to send emails.

But now, I could not send emails but I can still receive them.

I got this error message: An unknown error has occurred.

Server Response: 554 Message refused, Port: 25, Secure (SSL): No, Server Error: 554, Error Number: 0x800CCC6F. I tried to read an article about the error mentioned above but the link is already invalid.
