The idea of cloud computing is a relatively new concept that I haven’t grasped its functionality. I don’t quite understand how cloud servers give results almost instantaneously assuming that Google servers have literally Petabytes of data which makes it highly costly to run on a SSDs system. I am wondering whether there is some form of hierarchy that masks latency. Shouldn’t it take a considerable amount of time to communicate with the server? I would appreciate if someone could explain how cloud computing works and why is it very fast.

We have a team project collection that is under an old single server. As we are trying to move it to a multiple server deployment, everything went well with the developers but some users cannot have access. They were unable to access the Team Foundation Server (TFS) via the front end of the web. They are receiving error “TF26175: Team Foundation Core Services attribute ‘AttachmentServerUrl’ not found.”  When trying to run our team project. The Visual Studio becomes unresponsive and later on stop from functioning. There is a small red X written on it. How can I fix this?

I upgraded my domain from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003. We currently have three DC under Win 2003.

The first one is the Primary Domain Controller and the rest are ADC.

And right now, I am facing problem on opening rsop.msc.

How to authenticate Active Directory users in squid proxy i have compiled squid from source code.. and i want to block streaming too in proxy.

There is a serious problem that my computer has developed that I am yet to figure out its cause. My computer freezes and I highly suspect that it has a virus.  I am stuck because I don’t know what to do next. I am wondering which of the following actions will solve the problem once and for all when I run it.

• Should I run the antivirus to perform a virus scan,
• Have the whole hard disk scanned or
• Should I run a disk defragmenter.

I am also interested to know in what order these actions should be performed that will remedy the...

I want to send an email message to a number of people. I want to send only one email for all of them. The problem is that I don’t know how to mass email them without having the email addresses of the other people being viewed by an email recipient. I don’t want them to know to who else was the email cc:’d to. Can someone please help me do this?

I no longer have to authenticate when I move on the site to our production server which is the DMZ using the AD. I always get an “Access Denied” and error page on the line:

• type="Telerik.Security.ActiveDirectory.TelerikADMembershipProvider, Telerik.Security"/>

And I tried changing the LDAP server path, the error message changes to

• "Unable to establish secure connection with the server"

The problem appears to be related to the Telerik Active Directory provider after I got an installation of Sitefinity working with Active Directory login on a development server inside our domain. I will be grateful if you could help me on this.

How does MOSS internally work? My problem is every time I open the site of MOSS Server, the files get attached properly and it runs fine. But if I’m doing it from any of the network clients, I always get the message “file not found” and/or “incorrect user name or password”. Please help me about this so I can create and edit the elements of a standard web part on the New Form and Edit Form .aspx.

Can someone help me resolve this situation? Everything that appears on the screen is magnified and it is making the task of accessing the controls at the bottom of the screen inaccessible.  How can I set it back to the normal size? Thanks for all the help.

Consider the following situation, you have in possession two servers, let’s call them Server One and Server Two. 

Server One has all the graphical software such as AutoCAD while Server Two has all the regular software and it is the server catering to the users. 

Both servers are not linked in any way - They are not in a network.  If you would like to give a certain user from Server Two access to a certain application in Server One, how would you go about configuring that, without compromising security in both servers?
