I’ve been using AnchorFree Expat Shield, a VPN program which provides the user a UK IP address, for some time now without experiencing any problems.

However, yesterday the program wasn’t able to execute and a Windows error pops-up saying “Open vpntray.exe has stopped working.” I tried searching the net for any possible solution but failed.

Does anyone of here know any solution to this problem?

I have installed Windows XP Home Edition on my computer, without the Service Packs. My friend told me that one must have SP1 or SP2 installed before installing SP3 when running Window-based system. I’ve also read different information regarding this matter. Some say that slip streaming is the only way to go directly from XP-SP0 to SP3. I have two Dell computers at home. Every time I put them to sleep mode, the fans turn off except for the other one, a Dell OptiPlex GX200 with a Phoenix ver. A05 BIOS.

I recently installed Windows 7 on my Dell laptop. Since then I keep getting errors on my DVD ROM. It says on the error “Code 19: Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged.” I tried reinstalling some of the drivers but still didn’t manage to fix the error. I also tried browsing the net but the only solutions I’ve found are for Windows Vista and XP only. I’m having doubts if these solutions will work on Windows 7. I need everyone’s opinion regarding this matter. Please help me.

System Restore has ceased functioning on my laptop with  Windows Vista OS.

Every time I run System Restore on my laptop, the system keeps on displaying “ERROR 0xc000007b: Each attempt to access System Restore on Windows Vista laptop fails with Error 0xc000007b.

Previous restore points lost.”

Can anyone tell me what this means?

I’m asking you to help me with this since I’m not pretty really familiar in using laptops and computers.

Every time I executed the Task Manager and shutdown or restart my computer, I keep getting the message error “dwwin.exe Application error...the instruction at "0x3003a657" referenced memory at "0x00a65a4d", the memory could not be "read", click OK to terminate the program” and such. Aside from this, I’m currently unable to add and remove programs, and use other utilities in the Control Panel. I’ve tried fixing the problems by downloading software which fixes my registry, but still no luck. I’m really at the end of my wits; any form of help is deeply appreciated.

I bought new HP Compaq dc7700 Convertible Minitower 3 days ago. After using it for a couple of days, for some reasons the system’s time keeps reverting even after setting it again. We are currently using Windows 7 32-bit on our computers and are also having trouble getting GS 8400 PCI express and nVidia GeForce 8400 GS PCI video cards functioning at the same time when running multiple monitors. We always keep on getting PCI bridge errors and have tried several solutions to fix the errors including changing PCI slots and others. I am using MSI laptop with Windows 7 installed on it. It has also a Blu-Ray Disc Drive and I want to upgrade it as soon as the new firmware is release. Anyone of you here knows how to get information about the manufacturer of your laptop’s Blu-Ray drive? I’ve tried checking the Device Manager on my computer but still no luck.
