How do you set up a VPN system for a small organization? What tools do I need to make this happen? What hardware is required and what software do I need to buy to manage the VPN system? What is the advantage of having a VPN system in place and is it expensive to manage?

I need some ideas on how VPN works. What are the concepts behind VPN? Is it similar to cloud computing or they are entirely different?

I need someone to give me a quick rundown on how to compute how much power my laptop charger draws from the mains whenever I charge my laptop. I am suspecting that my laptop charger consume too much power and I am not sure why. The charger can get very hot most of the time and electricity bills seem to be in the roof.
