I run virtual machines for various reasons and recently I was running windows XP on windows 7 dell laptop. I observed that the space on hard disk was too less and decided to clear some space. Now, I deleted multiple virtual machine images and I deleted also the folders containing them. The surprise fact was that even though I deleted multiple images and folders from my computer, the free space showing up didn't increase. I was expecting some 30 to 40 GB of free space! I have a comma separated file in the database and i need to detect some cases in some of the lines.
