I use AT & T for data on my iPad mini. When I got my last bill the amount of data used was a lot higher from the other months. Is there a way to monitor your data amount outside of what AT & T gives you to track it?

I have three teenager boys with friends over all the time. They stream and slow down my internet connection when they are over. Can I add a second account for guest only  with a cable mobile router? Will this help speed up the connection for me when they are here?

I have a big pdf document and I need to convert into a format where I can edit bits of the text. I heard that Adobe reader has a feature that can achieve that but it is a paid option. I want to know if there is a free option that can achieve this result and also I want the format to be more or less respected when transcribed into a modifiable text. 

I have a Dell laptop that has gone thru four batteries in the last year. I only replace them with Dell factory batteries so I know that it can not be the batteries. Is it possible for the laptop to be defective and cause the batteries to short out or burn out?

Yesterday, I was looking for ways to quickly download the new Ubuntu. In that respect, are any of the available download managers a good way to accelerate the download speed? Can anyone tell me if internet download manager is worth paying for? The on-board download manager for the chrome browser fails a lot, can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?

 I am a fan of Firefox browser and I hate being targeted by ads when browsing the internet. I found somewhere that there are scripts that help prevent the proliferation of targeted ads. Can anyone tell me what are scripts and how are they installed on the Firefox browser? Are these really safe or affiliated to malware?

I recently upgraded a few things on my computer including the CPU.Now I have tried with three different styles of head phones but keep getting extra noise. It sounds like a long drawn out beep that will not quit. It does not seem to be software related as it is the same for each program.

I formatted and set up a new hard drive in my second machine for the CD Rom drive. When I went to put it in the first maching it would not load the drive. So I put it back in the second machine and it works fine? What am I missing on it not working in the other machine?

I would like to upgrade my Lenovo U450 with a better maxed out SD card. What would be the best fit for one installed in this type of laptop? Will this cause any long term problems with my laptop by adding a maxed out one? Any suggestions would be appreciated?
