When everyone first started going online there was a lot of info about internet safety. Now how do you if you are getting hacked by just going on a website? How do you protect yourself from the identity theft that seems to happen daily? Do you have a realy safe program that you use?

I am trying to understand my internet IP address. Is there a way to find out if it is static or not? I turned off my router to clear out the address but it is still the same one. How can you reset it to get another one when you need it?

I spend a small fortune always replacing my earbuds because the wires are broken. It doesnt seem to matter whether I spend a lot or a little on them. When the wires break can I some I somehow repair the broken wires with something? Prefer not to tape them together.

I have been running a Creative SB X-Fi SB0460 card for awhile but I upgraded Windows yesterday. Now I can not get the computer to see the sound card. Do I need to turn the upgrade back to what I was running. Or is this card not compatible with Windows 8?

I need to know if Cortana will be among the new Lumia 520 updates that will be rolling out soon. I understand that it has a quad core processor and it is capable of working with most of the new apps and updates that Microsoft is releasing. I also need to know about the other updates that i should expect. Also, is there a better Windows Phone alternative to the Lumia 520 that goes about the same price?

My LG G3 handset is behaving in a weird way when I try connecting it to the internet. Most of the time, it does not accept the connection and of the few times that it connects, the connection drops inexplicably and refuses to comeback. Anybody who has ever solved a similar problem before?

I want to replace the hard drive on a Toshiba Satellite S50D-A laptop. But can not get into it to remove the old one and add the new drive. Is there a technician trick on opening up a older Toshiba  laptop?  I wish they made it is fixing your pc.

I purchased the D-Link Wi-Fi extender to amplify the signal since it was not reaching all areas of the house appropriately. It worked for around 4 days and afterwards, my tablet could not connect to WiFi anymore. I tried checking the router's logs and I found out that it was constantly assigning IPs. What might be causing such an issue?
