I am thinking about buying 4K TV but I do not have much information on it. A preview on the internet excited me but now I need to know what is meant by 4K before I buy. Is this the right time to buy it especially since it is new in the market? What channels do I expect to watch on it?

I have realized that we will be able to make calls on the new Apple iWatch. I know that phones use SIM cards to make calls and I own an iPhone but would wish to buy the iWatch. Does this mean that I will need two SIM cards with the same number? This sounds odd! If not how does the watch transfer or detect calls to your sim card? If it is used with the iPhone, what happens if my phone is far or switched off?

My computer is connected to both WiFi and Ethernet. I want to reserve the WiFi network to handle traffic from my chrome browser only. Since the Ethernet has high speeds, I want it to handle the rest of the traffic. How can I fix this issue on the windows 10 operating system?

I installed the latest Ubuntu 14 but I cannot connect to the internet via an Ethernet cable. My wireless card does not work on the new Ubuntu installation, therefore, I have to connect to a nearby PC through an Ethernet connection. I created files with PSD running on Mac OSX but lost them after a blackout. The files I had created were not saved, but I think there must be a way that unsaved files are saved temporarily in a computer. I have created a site using Google sites and set permissions so that each person should log in to their Gmail account in order to see it. Now, when I attempt to sign in to see the site, a message saying ‘the webpage has a redirect loop appears’. I have cleared the caches and cookies but nothing has so far changed. I use an ASUS laptop that is not very old.  I noticed the other day that there was a dark spot on the screen, almost near the top right hand corner.  I restarted the laptop, cleaned the screen, and nothing will make it go away.  I have not dropped or hit anything off of the laptop.  I'm out of ideas for troubleshooting this annoying issue.  Can anyone assist?  Thank you.

After upgrading my tablet to Android Lollipop 5.0.2, I have tried out the ShareIt app and it completely refuses to work. I understand the app is supposed to work by creating a wireless connection that members connect to and make it possible to share files. Are there any settings that must be changed in Lollipop since it was working well on KitKat? I believe it is not a problem with my connection, if it is please advise me. If you have solved a similar problem, guide me through the process.

I use Skype almost daily to communicate with family. During the past week, my audio has been cutting out intermittently during use. I have tried the trouble shooting techniques such as ensuring the audio is on, audio device enabled, etc. I have asked the other person to check their settings as well but I cannot seem to address the issue. Is it possible that multiple users on the other end are having the same connection issue? Are there other troubleshooting techniques I can try?

Hey, I am new to Linux and I want to optimize my HDD to have a balanced performance. I mean, it should be something like Scheduler /hdparm/free-fall-sensor/acpi_call/ e.tc. I also need to use TLP for it so that I can tweak settings like the Runtime power management among others. Can anyone explain to me the balanced settings for the settings that I have mentioned here?
