Please note there is no question category for Windows 8 so I selected Windows 7.  I have a new laptop and I saved a file on it.  Now I cannot locate it.  I did a search but the file is still not found, and I am positive I remember the name of the file.  I used to do this on my Windows 7 laptop but it always returned results.  Is there another function I could be using to find the file?

I'm having hard time using Windows these days. In Windows, you get many viruses while working online. I'm looking for a Linux Operating System which has common interface like that of Windows 87XP. I've heard that Zorin OS(Linux based) has three different including that of Mac,XP and itself. Is Zorin OS a perfect OS for a man like me? 

I have an iPhone 4S that works great except that it crashes every time I access the Words with Friends app.  I do not have any other issues with my phone other than this one app crashing.  I have tried deleted and reinstalling the app.  Does this occur on other types of phones?  I am due for an upgrade and am wondering if I will see similar issues with Samsung, etc.  Thank you for your assistance.

I have a Buffalo AirStation N300 Wireless travel router so I could access the internet and not be concerned about wireless connectivity. However, it is out of warranty and I find it resets itself on certain days. I have tried restarting it, but I see no results and it still happens, some days it will reset 1 time, other days it is up to 3-4 times. I would prefer not to purchase anything new, but if necessary I will. Are there any suggestions on what to do to prevent resetting? If no other tricks, suggestions on next type of...

I can not open any of my files for some reason. They were fine yesterday and now it pops up a error message each time.  The error message is - There was a problem sending the command to the program. Why would my files not work in one day? What does this error message mean?

I have a HP 4215 inkjet printer that is covered inside with black ink.  I do not want to turn it on and do more damage by the liquid zapping the main board. How can you clean up ink that has gotten into everything like this? Is this going to be impossible to fix?

I have a HP 1020 laser printer that has worked great for a long time. Now on every sheet of paper there are black lines running from the top to the bottom. I can not use it like this because everything is unreadable. Should I have it cleaned at somewhere like Best Buy?

I have not used this desktop in years and decided to pull it out of storage. When I first turn on the monitor screen it is normal and bright. But after a few minutes the screen slowly starts fading until it is completely black? Would this be a out of date driver issue or a bad monitor?

My boyfriend set up my computer when I first bought it years ago. We have now broken up but he listed himself as the admin for my computer. I went to add a program to my computer and it will not let me unless he puts in his password.  How can I remove him from having admin rights and add my user as one?

I am looking to buy my first new laptop. And  noticed that there are different times for the amount of battery life. Will this effect how long the laptop will need to charge? Is a longer lasting battery time mean it will take longer to recharge before I can use it?
