My computer uses 2GB RAM. In the first year that I'm using my computer, its performance is satisfactory. Nowadays, it seems that my computer performing slowly than before. Is the RAM the reason why my computer performing slowly? Is it recommended to upgrade my RAM to 4GB in order to perform my computer satisfactorily?

I don't have Microsoft Office installed at home; however, I wanted to install an application that is helpful to edit word documents and/or doing a PowerPoint presentation for my project without paying too much money. I have been using my Epson EX 310 for the last month when it has stopped printing all together.  I do not need black ink so when I ran out I assumed that it would still print with the color cartridges.  My last inkjet would keep printing if the print job did not have a need for black ink.  Is there a way to get this one to  print without a black ink cartridge?
