I have a built a php script that can extract data from Html sites however im unable to extract data from jpeg images. Is it possible to get a script that can extract data from such pictures? Where can I get this code? Can I integrate this script with an OCR reader or it works independently?

Recently I have thought of taking photography as a career. I was wondering what the best mobile shooter is as at late 2014 and beginning 2015. I am mostly on the move and having a mobile phone with a quality shooter will greatly help me in terms of spontaneous shots. 

I just bought a new htc m8. It is said on the packaging that the internal memory is 32gigs. When checking the storage settings, I found that only 24 gigs where usable immediately. It is a new phone with no major apps on it. Can anyone explain to me this discrepancy? Is the software on-board that big?

Just upgrade my phone to android lollipop 5.01. I have noticed that my battery is currently draining very fast as compared to other operating systems that were one. Is there a way to stop my battery from draining? What can be causing the drain? I have approximately 2 gigs of apps on-board, could that be the main raison for the drain?

Without my permission, T-bird downloaded an update (it hasn't done that before; it always asks me but it didn't this time). I do not want this update but it says it will install when I restart T-bird. Is there a way to prevent the install? Are there files or something on my PC that I can delete to stop this?

I am exporting a drawing to PDF from DraftSight and when the exported file is looked at in any other program, even Adobe Reader, the dimensions are not what they were drawn at. How do I get the dimensions of the drawing to carrying over to the PDF file? Thanks for the help

I just bought an Ipad and immediately plugged it to my laptop so as to sync my data. I noticed one thing, my ipad does not charge when hooked up to my laptop. I am presented with an unrecognised device. Is there a problem with the ipad or is my laptop in cause. When I plug it in the wall socket, it charges just fine.

I am currently facing a problem, my laptop only has 3 usb ports and I have a lot of peripherals that need to be connected such as 3 external hard drives, ipods, ipads and many others. Can anyone point me to a good USB hub? Does it affect transfer speeds?

I recently heard that google keeps track of every GPS spot that is located through google now. It is assumed to improve the accuracy and time of search. In my opinion, I am quite uncomfortable with this kind of tracking. Can anyone help me to turn this option off, please?

I was just wondering I have to swipe an access card to be able to enter the turnstile in my office. Sometimes I forget my card and is it possible for me to use the NFC on mobile to substitute the card. Can I get the same effect by using an app?
