I have got a problem with my Modem, where I have to turn off and turn on every 2 hours for the internet connection. I have checked the IPCONFIG settings with and without internet but couldn’t find any difference. Will removing all third party firewall helps? Is it safe to disable windows firewall and retry? Shall I uninstall and reinstall Ethernet drivers? Shall I buy a modem and Ethernet cables and try again? Shall I do any changes in static or DHCP? If yes, what are the possible things I can do? I have a practice being followed here to stay connected to internet without disconnection. I need to lift the receiver of my home telephone and keep it aside. If I don't do that, the internet works fine but only till somebody gives a call to the landline. As soon as it starts ringing, the modem shows that link has failed and connects again. But this interruption, though less periodic, makes me unhappy whenever the phone rings. Also, if I list the phone, nobody can call our phone too. I have a blue tooth Jabra street 2, Bluetooth headset and it comes with a nice battery backup. The only problem is that, when working on laptop, I want to connect the Bluetooth headset to both mobile and laptop. I mean I should be able to receive the calls s well as listen music from laptop. As mentioned above, I have got two working Modems with me here and I would like to know if there is any scope for using two modems in parallel. I want to connect one modem to a Wi-Fi router. Another modem, in a different room but same home will be connected to the desktop computer. Is it possible? I bought a new xiomi phone online and was exploring all the features. I observed one heart breaking thing happening in my new phone. Whenever I turn on 3G and download, use internet, the battery drains like water in a bucket with a big hole in the bottom. I can literally see battery percentage going down. I am not exaggerating but this is happening. Bit my co user days that it happens only during some time. But why should battery drain so drastically? Is that a battery problem? Or something is wrong in phone hardware?

I have dell Ultrabook laptop with good built in speakers. I used it very rarely and nowadays I have found a problem. Over a time I have found that the problem is repeatable. Straight to the point. When I start laptop and do not play any music for 20 minutes or more, I have to forget speakers in the laptop. If I play any video, only the video plays, but not its audio. But, if I start the laptop and play music immediately, then there won’t be any problem and I can hear to audio while checking video too....

Scroll pad of my dell laptop heats up! Is the design so inefficient or is my system is faulty one. I ordered Dell laptop from dell store so I cannot doubt some duplicate laptop is the cause for the trouble I am facing. After some 20 minutes of usage, the scroll pad really heated up but works awesomely all the time. It is just the little overheating which is bugging me a lot. I have a monitor with speakers built in here at my work place. I always use earphones but on weekends and on holidays I always prefer hearing from speakers. So, whenever I plan to use speakers to listen to music, I feel like the volume from the speakers is low. It is so low that sometime I think the speakers have gone bad.
