I was running the 'sudo apt update' command when the connection was interrupted, now an error that my dependencies are broken keeps showing up, how can I repair for the broken dependencies and do I have to do this as a root user or just a normals user? what is the way to go about this in terminal?

Hi! Right now I have my DVD player connected to PC via standard 100 Mb cable using Nero Media Home 4 and the picture is beautiful, but the problem is that this cable goes through the whole apartment which is not comfortable for me. How can I run as a root user in Ubuntu? I have to install some software dependencies but the system keeps telling me that Im not a root user, what is the command for running this in terminal and once running as a root user can I delete some directories in the sys folder? I want to change the directory of the files.

My skype cannot establish an internet connection what could be the problem? I have cleared my firewall for internet connection for skype and I have got the ports to route the internet from the default internet settings for the system, is there a specific port number for skype connections? what might that port number be?

Hi everybody! I have router Huawei HG8245T, it has 4 LAN ports but only lan 1 is working, 2,3,4 are not. I needed to connect TV, I put cable to lan 1 everything was good, but when I tried others there was no connection. I need TV and PC to have internet, may be there is something in settings?
