I am playing call of duty game in my laptop. Laptop is from Dell Inspiron series, i5 processor with 4 GB RAM. It has a turbo boost feature which makes processor increase clock speed during high performance requirement. What I have notices is that, whenever I play the game, after around 20-25 minutes I cannot even touch the part close to the fan. I am keeping it on a flat table and exhaust is not an issue. I have written nice programs MS excel using VBA. I want to protect the code and also copyright it so that my name will always be displayed. But, my question is will the user be able to see the results which is a computation done in VBA code if I set the document as read only? The users can enter creative data and find relevant results. Hi guys, I am looking for software drivers for my new I2C connect device which acts as a master foe I2C connector. It is expected to detect as a serial port on laptop. I am a fan of COM port since 90s. I have seen it all. I have seen how USB took over all keyboard and mouse connections, how PS/2 vanished all together. Floppy disk became history and long ribbons are uncommon to current generation. My typical concern is about COM port. All other interfaces vanished but COM port is still there in apple Mac laptop. I mean why do people still want to use serial port virtually. They use that USB to serial converter. Will COM port exist for further centuries?

Urgent help needed. I had a full excel document sheet with several sensor data. After several calculations I had plotted all of them in Excel. Due to power loss, the Computer turned off. But after turning on the computer what I can see is only a zero sized file. It is totally gone. The size was 2 mega bytes. I searched in temp folder but I could get the file. I have noticed that my 3 year old Dell laptop has a problem in power management. Either there is a problem in this laptop or this may ne common to all laptops in this series.
