I came across my friend's laptop during last week and I observe that when I connected my pen dive to his old HP laptop, the mouse sticks for a while. I mean I can see that mouse will not operate for couple of seconds. Since this was observed even after repetitions i thought there is some issue in the laptop USB controller. I still have to check by connecting other pen drives. I will update once I do this exercise again. I have to know is there a way to have control over the update feature in the latest windows 8.1 operating system. Main reason to look for this is that the my data bill is more this time. Iy is around 10 times more than what I used to get other month. I have this personal experience of speeds. I bought the laptop which came with windows 7 basic home edition. I got used to it and it was innovative, smart and stylishly good to see. But it was slow, booting was taking about 30 to 40 seconds but I got used to it. Remember that four colorful windows come together and slowly show some animation? When I put my new Dell Inspiron 15.6 inch laptop to standby mode it goes to standby mode. Buy, later if I try to bring back to normal mode it takes about 3 -4 presses. I am shocked to see whether this already a malfunctioning power button problem or something to do with laptop hardware. Whenever I double click on a Word document, I always get the document owned in MS 2007. For some reason I don't want to uninstall MS 2007 office suite. My requirement is as follow: if it is an audio file like mp3, .wav etc it should automatically go to one folder. This is the scenario. I have a Excel document with nearly 30 sheets. Each sheet belongs to a customer and the data is readable by customer. I am maintaining data of all customers in same Microsoft Excel document. Whenever the customer asks data, I copy his/her sheet into a new document and send it to them. I do image editing and designs for personal use. I was using adobe till now and now the license has expired and it cannot be used again on my PC.
