Help! I have forgotten my Windows password. How do I proceed with linux windows password reset? I do not have a Windows password reset disk. Can someone please help me reset the password without the disk?

I have pulled a Windows 2008 server into Windows 2003 server domain. When I attempted to promote the server to a Domain Controller, I got this error message. Error: The processing of Group Policy failed. Windows could not authenticate to the Active Directory service on a domain controller. (ldap bind function call failed).
