We all know that Android is the operating system platform for the users to work on an individual smart phone. It is the medium through which all the operations are carried out in a mobile. In this regards, Android has launched its seventh version, Android 7.0, the Nougat, very recently. This seventh version is put on all the latest GOOGLE phones and the latest edition of the MOTOROLA smart-phones (moto g5 & g5 plus).
ANDROID O:
Android-O is the latest proposed version of Android. This version is the eighth version of the Android operating system and is still in its testing stage. Once it receives the required testing results then this Android-O will be the latest version of the Android operating system that will be coming into the market.
On March 21st,2017, the officials of Android have released the alpha version of the operating system with the code name as Android-O. After the successful results of the alpha version, there will be the release of the beta version, and that will be the last testing version of the upcoming operating system.
The officials of the company stated that this latest version promises some advancements and improvements that are ready to amuse us through their work.
PROMISING FEATURES:
The latest Android-O has promised to give the users a lot more than the most up-to-date version, the Android-N.
1. Improvement in the battery life time:
Battery is the most important part of a person using a smart-phone because the smart-phone will not be called smart unless and until it is in a working state. For it to last long in the working state, the phone has to have a longer battery lasting time.
And now, this latest version guarantees to improve the performance of the battery, making it last long.
2. Notification Controller:
This latest version also helps us in managing our notifications. As a user of the smart-phone and the number of the applications in it, we receive a huge number of notifications. Unlike all the other versions, this version of the operating system allows us to create different batches of notifications which can be generalized as the notifications in different genres. These batches are names as “CHANNELS.” These channels are segregated by the names we give them and help us to reduce the lengthy list of notifications.
3. PICTURE-IN-PICTURE:
This is a very prominent feature that the new operating system will provide to the users. PiP, may stand as the most fascinated feature that will captivate the users to shift off to the Android-O. This is the feature that enables the user to see or work on two projects simultaneously. To make it even clear to understand, let us consider this example, here the screen is divided into two parts which would display two different programs. So, the user will be aware of the things he wanted to stay updated on the same time. Although the control is going to stay with the main program, running on the screen, but can be swapped if needed. This feature is worth waiting.
