Yes ! There are virtual managers to assist you in your password related issues. A big one for those who have a very hard time remembering all the different clumsy combinations of passwords. There are a few good password managers available for free or just a negligible amount.
There’s LastPass, Dashlane, KeePass, 1Password, RoboForm, and much more. Each containing various utilities apart from the primary cause of managing your passwords. Apart from managing your passwords, it also features a form-fill option, auto-fill passwords, a password generator, 2-factor authenticator, etc. Security can be a huge step-down while opting for a ‘Password Manager’ and you need to think it through while signing up for one. Although these password manager companies provide you with a proper overall security and a guarantee to your privacy, it’s never 100% safe when you put it all over the net.
I am a big time user of LastPass, and I would say that this is so far the best I have used, and it has played an integral part in my life. Be it saving the passwords on a click or filling of forms with a click, LastPass makes it so easy to work with on the internet. It provides an online security check for all the passwords and gives us detailed stats of each tiny little bit of information. It has an AES-256 bit encryption, with multiple layers of security to enhance its armor and I am pretty sure that this is some serious encryption that these guys are performing up there for our safety, but it’s always better to use it with caution.
LastPass has consistently been updating and its currently in its v4 which has loads of new features including an ‘Emergency Person’ which when set up, gives access to anyone of your choice to have the access to your LastPass Account in the case of any emergency password retrievals. LastPass also has mobile applications, both for Android and iOS as well. It has a chrome extension which works perfectly fine, and a standalone software can run LastPass on multiple browsers smoothly without any interruptions.
P.S: LastPass has a premium version which supports all the mobile apps.
