Google, one of the multinational companies and responsible for some other applications like Google Maps, Google+, Google Translate, Google search, Google AdSense, etc. It was one of the high-grossing companies in the world in the internet world. It also works on the online advertising programs too. But now it was with a new technology Operating system which is used in the IoT (Internet of Things).
IoT (Internet of Things) is the internal function which is used to control and responsible for the working of a device. It also called as the Connecting devices and Smart Devices. It is the internetworking part which the programming is to be done according to the project and application of such device. The use of the IoT is like automotive vehicles, Home safety precautions, Offices, etc. This device consists of different components like Sensors, Circuits, Embedded Systems, The Internet, etc. This type of technology makes the users and developers to apply their ideas in a project and to develop a physical component.
As the physical components or the device will need an instructor and lead to the actions, an operating system is compulsory. The control and the instruction to the component provide a platform or an Operating Software, Google already developed and released an Operating system called “Brillo” which uses only for the IoT inter-functions, but now it came with an update version calling with the name Android Things.
Every new update will definitely get better features and interesting things. So coming to the Android Things, there are a lot of interesting features makes the users show an interesting to it. Yes, looking for the new update Google mostly concentrated on the Security and making the user-friendly operating system to the developers. The Android Things is secure and also providing the Voice Commands. The security is directly built by the Google to the devices which are functioning with the Google’s latest operating systems. With the help of this Android Thing, programmers of Android and Google services can develop a device.
According to the sources, this project also includes the Android Software Development Kit, Google Cloud Platforms and Google Play Services, etc. This features make the users interact with the number of software and can develop their projects with the help of the direct security updates from the Google. And Google promised that they are going to introduce a solution for the Software Patches, Security fixes, etc. which are faced while working. As this days, every software will support to the device which designed by the same company, but Google is trying to get a new version which can support all devices.
They also added that some of the companies already started working on the Operating system Weave which it was already being used by some of the companies. The companies working on the Weave are Honeywell, Tp-Link, Belkin WeMo, Philips Hue, LIFX, Philips Hue, etc. They also talked about the other platform developers and suggested the developers that we can also start working on the Hardware development kits like Raspberry Pi3, Intel Edison, and NXP Pico.
