Apple announced its ninth generation of iconic phone series dubbed as iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S plus in a special event on 9th September and these devices went on sale on 25th September in first wave of countries.
The iPhone 6s has a 4.7 inch screen with a 750P display and the 6S plus has a 5.5 inch screen which has a full HD Display. 3D touch, the next generation of Multi-Touch,works great on both the devices and it completely changes the way you interact with your device. Both phones come with next generation Finger print scanners which is two times faster than the original Touch ID. Both the phones come with Apple designed A9 chip and comes with 1.4 Ghz dual core processor which is literally killing the competitors in the early benchmark and geek bench results. Both the phones have 12 MP rear camera with Dual tone flat. While the iPhone 6S has, digital Image stabilisation, the 6S plus has optical image stabilisation. Both the phones have 5 MP front camera which comes with a retina Flash.Both can record beautiful 4K videos.

Apple has announced that its new flagship phones will be available in India on 16 October and many 3rd party Apple retailers have started taking pre-orders already. Leading 3rd party resellers like The MobileStore, Sangeetha Mobiles, Univercell, Imagine, iStore, Reliance Digital, Croma etc have started taking pre orders. You can pre order your phone by paying 1,000 RS which is refundable. Apple has shared the official pricing with its 3rd part resellers. Infibeam, online retailer has started taking orders on its online store. We expect Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal to do the same soon.

The official price of the iPhone 6s is 62,000 for the 16GB variant, 72,000 for the 64 GB and 82,000 for the 128 GB variant. The iPhone 6s plus starts at 72,000 for the 16 GB variant and costs 82,000 and 92,000 for the 64 GB and 128 GB variants respectively. Even though early sources and rumours suggested Apple would launch the phones at the same price as that of iPhone 6 and 6 plus, Apple has increased the prices by 10,000RS.
Thos who wants to get their hands on can go to any of the 3rd part resellers and pre- order the phone by paying 1,000 Rs / unit.The phone will hot the stores on 16th October.
