Review of iCloud by Apple
At last, iCloud is introduced by Apple. It is the biggest buzz in the field of IT. It is not launched yet, but some dealer’s say it is a desktop application, some say it introduces the fast applications with lowest cost on transactions with increased performance of servers.
Others say it is a special software that performs like magic which was not previously available. It is defined by Apple as “This is the cloud the way it should be: automatic and effortless. iCloud is seamlessly integrated into your applications, so you can access your content on all your devices. And it’s free with iOS 5”. It has the capability to store your music, applications, calendar, documents and many other things and connect them wirelessly to your device. It is the easiest way to manage your content, which was never before. If you take a picture, icloud automatically move the content to all your devices. If you buy an application on one of your devices, it send a copy of that to your other devices. Along with that, if you sign up for iCloud you will get 5 GB storage free.
The other important aspect of iCloud is; it creates the backup of data automatically. Once a day, iCloud search and backup your data. It does not create the backup of all your data daily. It only makes the backup of data that is added in that day. If your cell phone is lost or you have changed your cell phone, all you have to do to get the previous data on your new device is to just type your Apple ID and password and everything will be automatically loaded to your new cell phone.
It can create the back up of purchased music, applications, books, your photos and videos, settings of your device, data, home screen and application organization, text and MMS messages, and ringtones etc. it will charge $24.99 per year. Apple has taken the place of Amazon by offering 5 GB free before purchasing. Amazon charges $100 per year for downloading 100 songs. While Apple has announced $24.99 per year for unlimited downloads.
Apple has introduced three new applications. Non Apple users can take the benefits of iCloud applications. With this application you can upload documents, its pages, page numbers and keynote documents and you can create its copies on other devices. You can edit your documents through iCloud.
The other feature is photo streaming. You can upload photos on any of your devices and it will be copied to other devices of yours. This feature will also work on Mac with iPhoto also supports Apple TV. It has limit of 1000 photos on iOS device and unlimited on PC and Mac. These photos remain in your device for a month, if you want to save them you can save on some other place.
Another good feature of iCloud is that it search through Wi-Fi in the library of iClouds and match the tunes which are present in your device and save the tunes which you need.
These are some very good features of iCloud which is coming in this fall. The companies already presents in the market will face a great deal of competition.
