The smartphone has a price currently at 25,000 rupees for the 4GB 64GB variant. Although the device was released in February 2018, the s9 is still worth buying because of various reasons. The primary rationale as to why this phone is still worth in 2020 is the display, with a 5.8 inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display, the screen is very much the 2020 era. The built is another essential factor to consider when buying the s9; it has a metal and glass design with narrow edges. Another striking feature is the software; the phone has been updated to Android 10 powered with One UI2 skin. With all these features in hand, the Samsung Galaxy s9 is still a good buy to make for a much discounted 25k price point.

Launched in 2 versions of 8GB and 128GB and 8GB and 256GB, Vivo v19 is one of the most premium smartphones in the budget range of 30,000. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 712 AIE octa-core processor, the phone may not be as powerful as its contemporaries, still it is a fast phone, and almost all of the daily operations can be smooth and fluid in this phone. It has a super AMOLED display with a 4500 mah lithium-ion battery that can charge using the powerful 30w charger included with it in the packaging. Vivo V19 can be named a camera-centric smartphone, with its optics being powerful; with an AI quad-camera setup 48 +8+2+2 mp camera setup. The front camera is a 32+8 mp set up with 8 mp being the ultra-wide selfie. The phone was released on May 15, 2020, and had a default android 10 setups with it.

With every coming year, Oppo has been launching bigger and better phones, Oppo reno 2z, launched in August 2019, in one among them with the phone being a camera-centric phone, with a powerful optics of 48+8+2+2 mp setup, with ultra-night mode, 119 degrees wide-angle and more. The display is a notchless 6.53 inch AMOLED display with a rising front camera of 16 megapixels. Powered by the MediaTek helio p90 chipset, the phone has a hyper boost 2.0 game optimization feature. Launched in March 2020, Oppo reno 3 pro is a 6.4 inch AMOLED display screen with octa-core MediaTek Helio P95 SoC powering the phone. It came up with two variants, mainly 8GB and 128GB; 8GB and 256GB. The phone is a battery monster with a 4025 mah battery coupled with a 30W VOOC charger, that can complete one round of charge (0-100) in less than one hours’ time. The phone is a complete selfie-centric phone with the front camera having 44 mp primary lens and 2 mp depth sensor. The rear side of the phone has a quad-camera setup with a 48 mp main lens, 13 mp telephoto camera, 8 mp ultra-wide lens, and 2 mp mono camera. The phone starts at 29,149 for the 8GB 128GB variant.
6:Vivo V17 Pro
The Vivo V17 Prowas launched in September 2019, as a budget phone with higher flagship specs., the 6.44 inch AMOLED full HD+ display has significant color saturation levels and viewing angles. Powered by the yesteryear great Snapdragon 675 SoC, the phone is a bit old powered in 2019, but 675 chipset does provide decent day to day performance. It comes in 8GB and 128GB variant coupled with a 4100 mah battery and a default Android 9 setup. As with all the Vivo and Oppo smartphones, the optics are the greatest plus sign, because the v17 pro comes with a quad-camera with 48+8+13+2 mp setup and a 32+8 mp front selfie, with 8 being the ultra-wide. Altogether this phone has a pretty old chipset, battery and camera wise this phone is still a great contender even in 2020.
5:OnePlus 7
Launched in June 2019 alongside OnePlus 7 pro, Oneplus 7 is the direct successor to the One Plus 6T. Equipped with the Snapdragon 855 chipset, this phone is a monster when it comes to performance. Built-in a 6.41-inch HD+ AMOLED 90Hz display, OnePlus 7 caters to the needs of the budget-conscious customer without compromising the luxury of owning a premium smartphone. The phone was released in two variants, 6GB and 128GB version, and 8GB and 256GB version. The battery is at 3700 mah which lasts for one full day with a single charge, while the package provided includes a 20w fast charger as well, which can completely charge the phone in less than an hour and a half. On the side of optics, the one plus 7 is powered by a dual-camera setup in the back with a 48-megapixel lens and a 5 mp depth sensor; the front camera is a 16 mp camera. Although the numbers in the optics seem fantastic, the camera struggles in certain areas, especially in low-lighting conditions. The phone was released in the android 9 pie software version.

The notchless front display makes the phone look premium, and the pop-up 20 mp front camera makes the phone a great selfie phone. All together, the K20 pro has been a champ in many areas.

The phone comes with a 4000 mah battery and a 50W SuperVOOC charger. The phone was India’s fastest charging phone when launched in 2019, with a 0-100% charge in just 35 mins. It is still the charging champ in several tests around the world. The phone has a dual 2000 mah battery. X2 pro has been considered the best bang for the buck smartphone, with all flagship features inside a budget phone. 6.5-inch full HD+ AMOLED 90 Hz display is magnificent to look up to, with gorilla glass 5 protection to both its front and back and aluminum built sides, the x2 pro is one of the safest phones in terms of damage. The phone comes with dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The optics have also been awesome, with 64+13+8+2 mp rear setup and a water drop notch 16 mp front camera. All together, the Realme X2 pro has been the best smartphone of 2019 and is still considered to be a great smartphone in 2020.

The all-new Realme X3 superzoom tops the list of 10 best smartphones. Launched on June 30, 2020, through a virtual launch by Realme, the x3 superzoom is powered by a 2019 855+ chipset and a 120Hz refresh rate LCD panel, which is for the first time in an under 30k segment. The battery is at 4200 mah. The 6.60-inch LCD panel saves battery and thus making the battery life of x3 superzoom solid. It comes in 2 variants 8GB and 128GB; 8GB and 256GB. The phone lacks stereo speakers, but the bottom speaker keeps that limitation under the mat. The optics are pretty good with the new Realme phone, the quad-camera is with 64+8+8+2 mp setup and the selfie with 32mp and 8mp setup, with 8 mp as ultra-wide. Although the camera setup is great, it does struggle in low-lighting conditions. Another con is the double notch on the front screen may not be the cup of tea for all. Apart from such cons, the phone is a great performer and a great value for money with price starting at 25,999 rupees.
