A wind energy company with operations in Spain and Germany. They manufacture wind turbines and provide offshore and onshore wind services. With a revenue of $10.2 billion in 2021, the company is the world’s second-largest manufacturer of wind turbines. They currently have more than 120 GW of installed wind capacity worldwide, enough to power more than 87 million households annually. The company is best known for its largest offshore wind turbine, the SG 14-236 DD, which has a nameplate capacity of up to 14 MW and 15 MW when equipped with the Power Boost function.
10. The Southern Company (NYSE:SO)
The Atlanta-based company provides electricity, natural gas, and telecommunications services, as well as operates a fibre optics network. Not only this it is also one of the largest producers of electricity in the United States.
