1. Tesla Model 3
The Tesla Model 3 is a compact, battery-powered executive hatchback sedan manufactured by Tesla. Limited production of the Model 3 started in mid-2017, with the first exhibit car rolling off the assembly line on July 7, 2017. The first 30 cars were produced on July 28. The base Model 3 delivers an EPA-rated all-electric range of 272 miles (438 km), and the long-range version offers 358 miles (576 km).
2. Polestar 2
Polestar 2 presents dual-motor performance and an EPA coverage of 233 miles per charge. It’s not industry-leading, but it’s still somewhat impressive. Polestar 2 also includes an Android Automotive OS-based infotainment system and self-cleaning headlights, a Harmon Kardon sound system, and Volvo’s Pilot Driver Assistance System.
3. Wuling Hongguang Mini EV
The Wuling Hongguang Mini EV (Chinese: 五菱宏光MiniEV) is a battery-powered electric minicar manufactured by SAIC-GM-Wuling since 2020. Retail deliveries began in China in July 2020. Since January of this year, more than 50,000 units have been sold, making the Mini EV the best selling electric car in China.
4. VW ID.4
The Volkswagen ID.4 is a battery-electric compact crossover SUV from Volkswagen. Established on the MEB platform, the ID.4 is the second model of the Volkswagen ID series. The production version of the ID.4 made its debut in September 2020 as the first all-electric crossover SUV from the Volkswagen brand.
The ID.4 was selected as the World Car of the Year 2021.
5. Hyundai IONIQ 5
Hyundai Ioniq 5 is a new all-electric compact crossover with advanced technology and a futuristic design. The Ioniq moniker, which is seen as Hyundai’s sub-brand, also applies to a range of forthcoming EV models, but the 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 was released first. It boasts unique charging speeds and an estimated range of up to 303 miles.
6. Nissan Leaf
The new Nissan Leaf 2022 is the cheapest electric car in the USA, and comes in five different models. Its features include epedal one-pedal driving mode, ProPilot driver assistance software, roomy interior with Android Auto and CarPlay support. It has a 40 kWh battery and has an approximate range of 149 miles.
7. Lucid Air Dream Edition
Lucid Motors is the manufacturer of the new electric car, The Lucid Air Dream Edition. Unveiled in December 2016, it is designed to compete with existing brands in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, in particular the Tesla Model S, the Karma Revero, the Porsche Taycan, and also some other trademarks in the luxury cars, including Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and BMW.
8. GMC Hummer EV Edition1
The first version, the EV Edition1, is a truck with three electric motors (one in the front, two in the back) that will produce 1000 hp and with launch control that will launch this car from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.0 seconds. Compared to the popular Ford F150, which takes 6.2 to get there.
9. Tesla Model Y
Manufactured by Tesla, Inc., the Tesla Y is a fully electric car. Tesla introduced it in March 2019, started production at its Fremont facility in January 2020and began deliveries on March 13, 2020.
Based on the Model 3 sedan platform. The Model Y shares approximately 75% of its parts with the Tesla Model 3, including a similar interior design and electric powertrain.
10. Porsche Taycan Turbo S
The Porsche Taycan is a premium, full-size, all-electric sedan that offers 522 horsepower in the base 4S model. The mid-range model is called Turbo and increases performance to up to 670 hp. It runs at a speed of 260 Kmph. The battery type is lithium-ion, and the energy is 93.4 kWh.
