Hi guys, I am looking for software drivers for my new I2C connect device which acts as a master foe I2C connector. It is expected to detect as a serial port on laptop. But since I do not have drivers for it, I am wasting time. I tried downloading random firmware, forcefully defined connection as COM port but of little use. A few days back only I bought this module and it came with a CD. I do not have a CD reader here. I have no access to other PCs or else I would have copied it already. Can anybody share the firmware for the above said device. Leads to the firmware website link are greatly appreciated.

I am a fan of COM port since 90s. I have seen it all. I have seen how USB took over all keyboard and mouse connections, how PS/2 vanished all together. Floppy disk became history and long ribbons are uncommon to current generation. My typical concern is about COM port. All other interfaces vanished but COM port is still there in apple Mac laptop. I mean why do people still want to use serial port virtually. They use that USB to serial converter. Will COM port exist for further centuries?

I have a technical fest in our college for which I am planning to have a huge display rather than a simple passive banner. All the monitors will be independently connected to individual desktop computers. I want to use those to display events, statistics and live results and some videos while particular events are running. But I have no idea what software to use to display multiple windows as one. Can you guys please help me in finding the software for the same? Should they be connected via Ethernet? How to connect all the computers? The power of MS office is endless but my limited knowledge on the Microsoft Excel is costing mow. I have a very important and urgent assignment to complete but all my time is being drained in searching for answers. For the solution I need, most of the users say t go VBA programming. I do not know ABCs of VBA programming. Can anybody please help in me getting started with VBA programming. Sample of one of the task I need to do is copy a section of one sheet on same sheet to another section in different sheet. I would appreciate if anybody can depict VBA programming with simple example to get started with. Please reply soon.

I have been using MSword for quite a while but never MSExcel. I am very new to MSExcel, equations and functions. I could learn only to add cells, do mathematical operations on different cells and some other functions. Coming to the point, I have to copy so many cells from one sheet to other. Problem is that the rows and columns should be changeable and whatever changes happen on one sheet should automatically in other. Since, the number of rows and columns are countless; I don’t think the manual assignments of cell will not work? Any expertise on this topic? Kindly share the code or sample document if possible.

Have anybody tried concept of booting a windows OS from portable hard disk? I have used VMware for using windows XP inside windows XP for some reason. I was wondering because I have very good software which runs only on windows XP. But currently my laptop has windows 8 OS and I cannot format my laptop. Can anybody share the details on how one can install OS into a hard disk and boot from that hard disk when hard disk is connected. My strong feeling is that it can be done but may be with some limitations. It is okay if audio and video drivers won’t work. Hard disk will be kept dedicated to alternate OS. Expecting quick support.

Is there a way to start an application automatically in windows 8.1 OS. I remember that feature in windows XP and had used it a lot for innovative things. Is that feature still available? If yes how to access it? Are there any other utilities which do the same job? I want that application to run when that specific user login and not globally. Hope my requirements are clear. Please reply if some more information is required. I want this to help my sister with her computer usage. Thank you

I have an i5 powered laptop at home and i3 powered laptop at office. My personal laptop is from dell and official is from Lenovo. My office laptop is so fast that it makes my i5 powered personal laptop age old. How can i3 processor run so fast, run all the encryption stuff decryption stuff and still make it faster. Even the search is lightning fast. Why does that happen? What are the tweaks the manufactures do for personal laptops to run more slowly than business laptops? RAM size too is same. What can be the reason behind it? Can I too make my laptop perform at that speed?

To think innovatively, is there any alternatives for windows other than th beautiful windows OS. I had HTC android phone which was running on ginger bread earlier. I had changes the OS to cyanogen OS. Oh my god I cannot believe how much happy I was when I succeeded in it. Now, I just got a thought, why cannot we have one similar to cyanogen for windows? What are the challenges and limitations? Has any organization already started working on it? Are products already available but only I am not aware of it? Share your opinions. Thanks you all.

Oops error. Whenever I try to open Microsoft outlook in PC, I get the following error “Cannot start Microsoft outlook”. How can I come out of this problem? Should i wait for the services personnel whom I have contacted foe support? Is there something which I can do myself? Please reply quickly as I have to read and reply mails. I never thought this failure thing would affect my business this much. I had used same software earlier without any problem. But, only now it has got some issue. Please help me. I am running windows 7 by the way.
