I have just purchased this Dell PC for 2 weeks now. This comes with a dell security shield. However, I decided to change this with a better one AV and Internet Security that I purchased.

I just want to ask how to completely remove Dell security shield. I removed it using the Control Panel but there are still components left and this affects my subsequent installation. Please I need your opinions.

The software installed good and I was capable to update the database as well, on the other hand when I attempt now I receive this error below:

I am using win 7 on my laptop. I am using Avast antivirus to protect my laptop from virus. Yesterday when i scan my computer then i found some virus files on it when i searched about them i come to know that these files are of claro.exe virus. Now please tell me how to scan avast claro file from my laptop using Avast antivirus.

I am wondering if some one install a keylogger software on the system (which is nearly undetectable). How to completely get rid of this kind of software or Keylogger Engine? Any help would be appreciated?

My PC had issues, and I've had to rebuild it 4 times already, but each time it seems as if it’s OK for around a week then it gets reacquainted with its old issues again.

Last night was the most recent when my PC froze after I tried to send email using my Hotmail account.

Since the page froze I tried to navigating away from it and got the pop-up message posted below:

I think my PC just got infected and so I am searching for free spyware removal boot disk. I have installed a few but I think my PC just get worse. Any recommendations?

I am tweaking on this real time defender inc file and I notice something on the windows explorer address bar. I notice that in the address bar, it is always showing ? instead of the local hard disk. For example, ?:System Volume Information instead of C:System Volume Information.

Does this “?” mean something? What does it stands for?
