While uninstalling Symantec I am getting errors. Also I am not able to delete the Symantec folder under C:Program Files either it gives me an error. How can I uninstall it?

Error 2318.file does not exist. C:Program FilesSymantecSymantec Endpoint Protection.

While installing Symantec Endpoint Protection client, on windows 7 64 bit machine, i received a warning message seeking for higher privileges for installing the SEP client and I cannot continue with the installation process.

This version of Symantec Antivirus Win64 requires elevated privileges in order to install. Please log in as an administrator, or contact your network administrator for help.

Please help.

I recently ran Avast antivirus on my on my HP c302 64-bit xp laptop.  Avast detected Exploit:Java/CVE-2013-4681mbr virus and could not remove it.  Ran Avast again and still can't remove it.  How do I manually remove java mbr virus from my system?

How do I fix Avast Antivirus setup for pc low Mb speed? 

I scanned a 500 Mb file and had a speed of 23 MB/sec. 

Respectable but slow compared to Norton. 

Is there a way to tweak the set up?

I'm having problems with Panda Cloud Antivirus Version 1.3.0. It seems that when the url filter is turned on, there is no internet connection in a browser (Google Chrome). I think the only solution is disabling panda cloud url filter. Will it still be safe to browse with it disabled?

I am running Windows XP 32bit; I tried updating my ESET smart security. I removed the older version and installed version 5 perfectly. But when I rebooted my system, I got a warning from MS Security Essentials, I did another reboot but to my surprise the version 5 of ESET was missing. I reinstalled Security Essentials and tried installing ESET again but got this error “Installer Information. Service 'Eset Service' (ekrn) could not be stopped. Verify that you have privileges to stop system services.” Any ideas how I can fix this?

I am running Windows 7 and I encounter this error message “The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application.” whenever I try opening the PC Tools Internet Security. I tried severally times to uninstall and reinstall it, but the same error occurs. Please help me fix this.
