What is Error 3 in Avast? I received an error message regarding Setup Selfextract “An error 3 (00000003) has occurred Last performed operation was: spawning” while installing Avast Antivirus. A screenshot of the above mentioned error message is attached herewith.

Hi Experts,

Current operating system of my machine is Windows Vista. I tried to edit Registry and got an error message. It says “Registry editing has been disabled by your administrator”.

I tried regedit.exe. I have no idea about that message of Registry Editor. Please help me to get a remedy of the issue.

Hi Experts,

The problem is with my Avast! Information. I received an error message regarding a secure connection from mail program (process thunderbird.exe) which is detected by Avast.

It also says “This type of connection cannot be checked for viruses. Please disable SSL/TLS in your mail client so that the Mail Scanner can scan your mail.

The Mail Scanner will provide the SSL/TLS security itself”. I am anxious with the error message.

Please help me to solve the issue.

Hi Experts,

I received an error message with Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware Updater. It says

Error loading database. Line: #15054.

On receiving the error message I took necessary measures to solve the problem but failed.

Presently my machine is running with XP Home Service Pack 3, Avast Home Edition, Webroot Firewall, Superantispyware Free. Anyone having idea of the error message please help me.

I received an error box on Norton Internet Security while using the option “Get Support”.

It says “Windows cannot find”.

It also says ‘http://sitedirector.symantec.com/932743328/?ssdcat=221&serviceid=2&pName=NIS&origin=stmnu&env=prod&layout=esd&tooltype=both&osver=%WINNTVER%’.

Make sure you type the name correctly, and then try again.

To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search” The same thing also happened while trying Live Update, Norton Recovery Tools etc.

Please help me to solve the issue.

On expiry of official license of Avast I renewed it. I paid. But recently I am receiving an error message which indicates that “the license has expired with the new license.” It’s also showing the subscription up to 2014. I do not understand the message.

I have failed to delete a file detected by Avast. While deleting it says

Operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus. 

What does it mean by the message mentioned above? Is there any problem with my Avast?

I installed Kaspersky Internet Security on my machine. While starting System Preparation Tool I got an error message stating

Windows could not finish configuring the system.

While installing Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 I received the error message mentioned below.

The installation process was smoothly continued. Suddenly it shows an error that “You must close Kaspersky Security Scan before proceeding with the installation. Changes made in the system will be automatically rolled back”.
