I am using avast for how many years in my windows xp operating system. And I want to know how does the remote management of avast protects the security of our computers from malicious viruses and files. Just give me an idea how does a remote management affects the computers and the antivirus itself.

I just setup my computer after picking it up from my technician no antivirus installed.

Please let me know what are the new antivirus released last December so that I can try it for a change and I am curious on the new features offered.

I am looking for an antivirus program that is for free and have the best security service for my windows XP service pack 1 operating system.

I will be doing some downloads for future use and I need an antivirus to protect all my important files in my local disk drives.

I need your help give me some information.

One or more viruses have already made my life a hell. I have been being troubled greatly in my attempt to make the virus(s) disable in my pc. I have already made several attempts to get rid of this problem but vain. My attempts include running MSE, Java and other AVAST software.

Nothing can delete the virus(s). What should I do now? Please help. Besides for this I believe while moving over the Internet, I am often redirected to Spam sites. In some cases, square pop up while in some other cases square or phone shaped pop up becomes visible at the bottom of my window.

Recently I installed AVG 2012 and since then I can’t browse internet using Google Chrome, but Mozilla Firefox is working just perfect. Why is AVG 2012 blocking chrome? Does anybody know the reason and how to resolve this issue? Any kind of help would be appreciated regarding this.
