Will the latest avg-antivirus performs its duties and responsibilities to filter latest upcoming viruses spreading all over the world as of this moment? And what will be the effect of this actions of ever we installed this new avg antivirus to our computer and then suddenly all my files are all infected?

I've read that malware and  spyware that infecting our PCs can be removed by running an updated antivirus software.

Is there any specific antivirus software proven to effectively remove both infections?

My antivirus software is now expired. I want to update it or change my anti virus.

I heard from my friend that this Avast Antivirus 7 is good.

I got confused because my other colleague said that it has a low scan process.

Do you think this is the time to change my avast old version to new?

My Mac Pro has been installed with Norton Antivirus but it’s kept on getting error saying to re-install Norton or open the live update. The dialogue box keeps on showing up even though I have tried doing both. The dialogue box is still showing even after I have decided to uninstall it.

While uploading or accessing a file to/from a SharePoint site, I get a SharePoint Virus Found Alert message.

Need support to resolve this problem as it is extremely frustrating.

I searched for Answers in many Tech Forums but Didn't find a concrete Solution.
