I wanted to run EICAR.COM to check if my antivirus is properly working, but it shows me the following error message shown in the image.

I’ve already anticipated this as EICAR is a DOS process and cannot perform on Windows 8 operating system. The weird thing is my antivirus pops up a dialog box saying it has detected a virus. Why is this so? Please help. Thanks a lot.

Hello Everyone,

I am encountering a problem when I am trying to install AVG version 2011 in my computer. When the installation is done, almost to 75%, an error message appears as “error code 0xc0070643”. The same problem occurs each time I am making an attempt to install the AVG. Can somebody help me fix this issue? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I have got myself Symantec Anti-Virus updated version i.e., 8.0. All I want is to install it in my personal computer and set my computer system so that it acts as an Anti-Virus Server platform. But during installation process it results in an error message saying the following string.

“The feature that you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable” How could I proceed?

I use antivirus (eScan) in my pc and it gets updated regularly. I need to use a pen drive very frequently. Sometimes, the pen drive does not open in another computer. Some of my colleagues have informed me that their pen drives also do not open after using them in my pc. Is my pc virus affected or is it happening for other reasons? 

I want to registrar nod32 software for free. I had a soft that gave me the license for 1 year but the nod soft has been deleted by the nod32 soft by scanning. 

Now I'm unable to install it again to my pc.

What should i do?

I was installing Avira Free Antivirus software but failed because an error happened (see screenshot below). 

I tried to install again, but the same error happened.  I wasn’t sure where to find the said file.

So please, can someone help me how to install Avira properly?

I was removing from my PC the installed Avira Free Anti-virus software via the Control Panel when this error message popped up.  

I was wondering why it did when no other software or installation was running.

Please help me since I needed to install a different brand of antivirus software.

I am trying to uninstall the Trend Micro on my computer because my license has expired and I am not renewing my subscription at the moment.

Through the Control Panel, I uninstalled the program and my PC prompted me to restart it which I did 3 times. However, I saw that it was not uninstalled successfully. I tried to uninstall the program through the Programs menu on Start but then again, I was unsuccessful. I know this is not a problem with the application because I was able to uninstall the same program on another computer without any issues.
