Anti-Virus
Hello! There,
I have been having this problem since last week. I’ve tried to resolve it myself, but obviously failed to do so.
So I am consulting the help of those masters online and I hope someone will help me with this.
My Windows Defender seems to be having a problem. I cannot open it. If I do, this error (refer to the image) pops up on my screen. I am also using Norton as my Antivirus program. I remember the first time this error showed up, I was updating Windows.
So please, I could use some little help right now.
Windows Defender encountered and error: 0x800705b4. This operation returned because the timeout period expired.

Hi bros,
Last night my computer was attacked by some virus. I don’t know what it is. Of course I panicked and was hoping it was not a serious virus. So, I immediately ran a full scan and checked for updates of Malwarebytes.
The virus I believed was removed, but when I tried to run and check for an update again, this error displayed.
Could the virus be causing this?
I am not good when it comes to something like this and I need serious help. I do hope it’s not that serious as I think it is.
I would really appreciate the help.

Hi!
I’ve just installed Trend Micro on my computer with Windows XP as my OS. But as soon as I try to change the settings to my personal liking, an error keeps on displaying.
I was trying to change the settings under protection against web threats and I also tried changing other settings like spam email filter, parental controls etc.
I am having a really hard time on finding every possible way that could cause this error. Of course, I am new to "Trend Micro" so I might be missing something.
I have tried restarting my computer, but still don’t resolve the problem. I already asked for help on other websites, but so far no response yet. I hope I get a response here.

I need help with my Kaspersky. Every time I turn on my computer, something like this appears on my desktop “Previous launch of Kaspersky Anti-Virus failed”, though I don’t recall anything like this happening in the past. I tried to contact Kaspersky’s support service, but so far I have not received any response from them.
Not only that my computer seems to be not functioning properly, It won’t run any applications and I cannot even access the task manager. I have tried following some of the solutions that I read on the internet but still its still there. I really want this fixed as soon as possible so please help me with this.

Hi!
I was trying to update the virus definitions on my computer to keep it updated and maybe could be helpful to protect it from anything harmful, but I got this error message. Regarding to memory issues, it's fine, and I still have a decent amount of it. I also tried clicking “YES” ,but there is still no difference what so ever. I am not a computer wizard, so I find it hard to find a way to fix this. What could be possibly causing this problem?
I have tried to go to various forums, and so far none has responded. I desperately need some help right now.
I hope it’s nothing serious or harmful to my computer.

Hi! All,
After my computer suffered some serious damages from virus infections, I was really determined to find and install those hardcore Antivirus that I could find. I had different choices, and after reading some feedbacks and reviews, I finally decided to go for Norton. I thought everything would be okay until this error message popped out.
I don’t know what to do and I can’t think of any possible thing that could cause this problem. My computer really needs a decent Antivirus as soon as possible.
I don’t want to give up on Norton just yet ,so I need someone to teach me what to do. It would really mean a lot to me.
