Apple Laptop
My Apple USB keyboard has a numeric pad included on the right side. The odd part is that, the numeric keys work except for the numbers 8, 5, 2 and the = key. I tried every possible ways to fix it but to no avail. I even don't have any idea how and what happened. I also don't know how to fix it. Please take note that the numeric pad is not locked since other numbers works just fine. I also noticed that the Mouse Keys is not on. Any ideas?

My old MacBook has Windows 7 installed on it. It doesn't have bootcamp and it boots from a DVD. It has Intel Core 2 Duo with 2GB RAM if these information will help; and it's the one with white color. The problems I am encountering are, first, it runs very slow. I want to know if reformatting this can help. Second, I need drivers for the graphics card, mouse and the others. Where can I find drivers for this? Anyone?

I don't understand but when I upgraded my dedicated VRAM with an 8GB RAM to 512 VRAM, it works fine. But I only got 512MB dedicated VRAM on my 16GB MacBook Pro 15" with Intel 4000. Is it possible to expand or increase the dedicated RAM? Or any other suggestions?

A month and a half ago, I installed a new SSD and everything works well. I followed all the instructions here and everything turns great. Last week, I installed an update from Apple but before doing it, I disabled the TE and re-enabled the kext. I installed the update and enabled TE again. Then I disabled kext and all works well. I did the same exact procedure when the latest Apple update came out. The problem is, the MBP was unable to boot up. I don't know what happened. I have an original installer of OS X and I'm not sure if I just reinstall it and start from there again?

Just this day, I plugged my phone on my MacBook Pro through a USB so I can charge it. But an error appears and I don't really remember what it says. All I remember is that, it says something about too much charge of the device. So I unplugged my phone and plugged it back again. After doing that, my laptop turns off and it never turn on. When I connect the charger on it, it flashes with orange light but it still won't turn on. What happened and how can I fix it?

I want the SelfControl app to start automatically on a given time and run it on a certain length of time. It's an Internet blocking app. My problem is, SelfControl is asking me to input my admin password manually so I can enable the block. But this will conquer the entire purpose since I cannot just type on it. By the way, I am running Mac OS X 10.10. Is there a way that I can get rid of the password request on SelfControl app?

My Mac Mini has an external HDD connected to it, which I used for storing my iTunes Library. I replaced it with WD 6TB Mybook (USB 3.0). In my old external WD HDD, I don't encounter an issues when transferring files from iTunes. But now, I am usually facing issues with iTunes 11.4.0.18 when transferring files to my Mac library. I keep getting an error stating, "A problem has occured when downloading the file 'xxxxx'. An unknown error has occured (-50). Check if a network connection has been established." I'm not sure why this is happening, but I want a clearer suggestions on fixing it.

I bought my friend's old MacBook Pro. The passwords and everything were already changed successfully, except for the Admin's name. I want to know how I can alter it with my own name. Please tell me the instructions on how to change it. Thanks.

I have a MacBook pro laptop and I need to replace my harddisk after it had a failure. I am now thinking of buying a new and even better one but I do not know the limitations if any. I understand apple computers would not just work with anything. Please help me get a good SSD that has good specs and will work with the laptop.
