Hi,

I have an Apple Powerbooks G4.  Somehow, it turns off after 5 minutes. 

I tried checking the battery but it seems ok. 

I cannot install my choice of operating system: osx due to this problem. 

I have doubts that this is due to an overheated computer since it does not feel hot. 

Please help me solve this problem.

My macbook pro is roughly around three years old and I've started to notice with more frequency that the machine does not want to wake up from sleep. I can tap on the keys several times, even open and close the lid and nothing seems to help. Is this a known glitch? Is there a patch fix for it? Any adviceis greatly welcomed andappreciated.

I have a mac book with mac OS installed. There are software's like daemon tools that I would like to install to enable me watch some interactive files of which I use on my windows OS laptop but would not function on my mac OS. I would be grateful if there is away around it to enable me use this software listed above on my mac book.

What is the best protection cover I use for a MacBook Pro that will not lessen the computer cooling system? Because the tendency in some cases will act like an insulator.  They can cause the computer to retain more heat, and therefore make the fan run harder.
