I recently installed a drive with OSX Lion. I tried to install iDVD but I couldn’t succeed.

On one of my friend’s suggestion, I purchased an ilife install disc from amazon. It was installed successfully but when I tried to launch it ended up in an error.

The screenshot of the error is attached below:

The error says:

Disk Utility Progress

Unable to create “iLife ’11 Install DVD.dmg.” (Input/output error)

Your help is required to solve the issue. Any suggestions are most welcome.

I am using Mac OS- snow leopard on my machine, and I have recently installed the Wiiflash server.

It was installed successfully but when I launch it, it gives me an error.

I am using Mac OS X 10.4.8. When I tried to install parallel desktop build 3188 on my system I got an error.

I have attached the screenshot of the error below:

The error says:

Parallels Desktop cannot be installed on this Computer.

Make sure your system meets the requirements.

I have checked that my system meets all the requirements for using this application. Then I don’t know why I am getting this error message.

I am a mac user and recently I have installed QuickTime player to play movies and videos.

Yesterday when I tried to play an avi format movie using QuickTime player, I got an error on my screens and the movie was not played.

The screenshot of the error is attached below:

The message states:

The document “want-to-believe.avi” could not be opened. The movie is not in a format that QuickTime player understands.

You may need to install additional software to open this type of file.

I need help uninstalling my “Adobe Reader 10.1.1” on my Mac. My Mac runs on OSX 10.6.8. I can’t open PDF using Adobe Reader and it just gives out the error: "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired".

I don’t have this problem opening this document on my other Mac book. Putting Adobe Reader in the trash and then reinstalling didn’t help. Previewing shows the contents of the same files that Adobe won’t open. Could someone please help me uninstall Adobe Reader 10.1.1 from my Mac?

Have a look the screenshot below. What does it m mean? I received this message all on a sudden. It suggests deleting some files on the startup disk. I have no idea for the message. If you have any idea for the issue, please help.

Your start up disk is almost full.

You need to make more space available on your start up disk by deleting files.

While booting Lion on my MacBook I received an error message. I downloaded it from the Mac Application Store. It was an update version. I tried it several times with recovery HD and reparation of the drive. However, it did not work.

Then I installed Snow Leopard. It installed well. I need to install Lion as I am a programmer.

I need to run the newest Xcode. Have you any idea for the issue?
