I was checking my inbox on my MacBook Pro, when I clicked to open my mails, or anything on my inbox window, the loading wheel just keeps on looping. I could not open anything so I just decided to return to the previous screen by hitting the back button. I close then open my mails again to no luck. The rainbow wheel just keeps on spinning. But everything is working fine aside from this issue. What is happening and how I can resolve it?

I have seen a SD Card reader in eBay that can be plug directly to an iPad so I download the pictures in the card. Does this really work? Does Apple really have something like this? Any ideas?
