Apple

I am looking forward of having an iPad 2 but beforehand, I have some questions in my mind that I would want to share with all of you and ask for your suggestions and ideas. I was wondering how much of the iPad 2's storage is taken up with pre-installed applications like Photo Booth, Face Time, Safari, and iOS?

Secondly, will there be any cases that non-Apple gadgets will use a magnet to put the iPad to sleep and cover the back? Thanks you in advance!

Can I connect my iPad 2 to my computer via Bluetooth? I have a Bluetooth dongle for a PC. Can I use this to sync photos from my computer to my iPad and the reversed way? My current operating system is Windows 7. Thank you very much!

Recently I noticed that my iPad seems to be having a fairly loud chirping noise, which sounds like a bird or a cricket. The noise sounds in two discreet bursts then again creates a fairly loud sound. Because of the loudness, you can easily hear it in a fair sized room. It is unlikely high chirping noise that I have read and heard about iPhone as the noise sounds quite a bit longer and of a higher pitched. Can someone tell me what should I do with it? Thank you.

Is there any hardware-routing solution out there that permits for the MAC filtering to remain running, and at the same time gives way for authentication by having a simple dialog box where a user could enter his/her username and password before getting an access to the network that could be allowed?

Does smudge removable from a Mac book Air track pad? After bumping my sons hand last night, his iPod touch skidded across my Mac book’s air track pad. I examined the Mac book and I detected a dark smudge on the track pad. I am not sure if it was there before or if the iPod caused it. The smudge isn't a gouge or deep though. I saw life intruder used a magic eraser to eliminate oils from the track pad. I also have oil upsurge on mine so I am wondering if it would be safe to try using it to eliminate the smudge. I don’t want to spoil it.  Who has had an incident with the magic eraser? I will try uploading photos of the smudge later. Thanks.

Auto save for documents is one of the most attractive feature of Mac OS X Lion. Nevertheless Auto save will not save a modified file over a formerly saved file, but rather will form versions of the file so that you may browse through previous drafts. Please I need your opinion, if this is going to reduce the chances of data loss?

My problem occurred recently with my iMac G5 which up to now has not had a single setback for 5years and it has served me well. The dilemma is, the computer erratically dies momentarily and fades out to black and restarts again after a few seconds returning to the image and place it had just left when I try looking at images in Adobe Bridge and/or Photoshop and want to carry out slight adjustments.

I have plenty of hard drive space and have allocated Random-access memory (RAM) as advised in Photoshop preferences. What is likely the problem? The Mac is running on Mac OS X version 10.4.11 with a 2.1GHz processor and 1.5 GB ram.

I could not make a backup for my Windows 7 partition on the OS X Lion pre installed on my Mac book.  After the recent installation of Windows 7 on my Mac book pro 13” laptop, I connected the external hard drive and back up the Windows 7 but it wasn’t possible because of the format. Are there instructions or a procedure of formatting my external hard drive so that I can still back up Windows?

I have dual xenon processors with 1TB hard drive on my computer. The rest is original, with no SSDS. And yet I am still having problems installing OS X Lion on my Mac Pro 2006 1. The update for all software was ended.

I downloaded OS X Lion from the app store and then installed it on my PC. When the installation is completed, the computer restarted and then the apple logo appears first on screen with a black circle started to spin.

This lasted for hours before the circle stops spinning. This has gone on all night and by daybreak the situation is the same. Has this experience occurred to anyone else? Please let me know.

 Hello everyone,

I’m using Media Composer v.3.0. on my Mac and the last time I tried to create a new project I’ve encountered a problem. The project just wouldn’t open and I got a failure message:

“Avid Media Composer

Couldn’t open project.”

I’m guessing it was never created properly but I would really appreciate it if you’d post more information on how to solve this. Thanks very much.
