Hi All,

IPad 2 issues or problems.

Before I buy one of these, I wanted to see if anyone had gone through issues or disadvantages that might stop me from buying one.  Can anyone suggest any reasons why we should not buy one.

Just to see if this helps me stop buying one of the lovely products of Apple. 🙂

I have QuickTime software installed on my Mac Os X 10.5 machine. There are a few .mp4 movie files which I am trying to view with my QuickTime software.

When I try to open the files with QuickTime it comes up with an error message

The movie could not be opened.

An invalid public movie atom was found in the movie.

I tried playing the same .mp4 file in Windows with QuickTime and it comes up with the same error message.

Is this format not supported or do I have some issue with the file itself?

I have a MAC OS 10.4.11 and have been getting an error message that I cannot open a movie file.

I am not sure why does this error pops up. This error comes up, whenever I try to go to the display preferences.

The movie could not be opened.

Operation could not be completed. (OSStatus error 23132.)

P.S. The above errors do not exist on techyv.com.

I tried reinstalling it from scratch, but the error message comes back again.

Any help on this issue is appreciated.

Each time when we connect the iPHONE to the laptop it checks for new releases and shows if available. Where can i check if the version has a fix you were waiting for.?

Can we read it some where?

Hello,

QuickTime is not able to play a few files on my machine. I have one of the .rmi file, which I am trying to play with QuickTime player and it will not play.

It comes up with an error message.

The movie could not be opened. This file is not a movie file.

This is a regular file, which I am able to play with other Media players. But not sure why I get this error message when I try to play with QuickTime.

I have a Mac IBook 10.5 and I have been using it from a few months. I am trying to open my Picasa photos viewer on my MC machine and I am not able to open it.

When I try to click on the Picasa , the usual way I do on my Windows machine I get an error message.

You cannot open the application “Picasa.app” because it is not supported on this system.

I am not sure if this is a compatibility issue with MAC or do I have to install some application in order for me to view my photos.

I thought someone would have come across the same problem, so posting it here for help.

I have Miro software installed on MAC Pro 10.5.6. Previously I had a hard time installing the software on my machine. After a little struggle I managed to install it on my machine.

Now when I try to launch the software, it comes up with an error message

An unexpected error has occurred during execution Of the main script

ValueError: not allowed to raise maximum limit

I thought it could be due to bad installation, so uninstalled the software and then reinstalled it back again. But I see the error still exists.

Hi everyone,

Does one have to enable sharing, inside iTunes as well as turning on Home Sharing? Some of the how to's I have read, say you need to check the boxes in iTunes Sharing, while others just say to turn on Home Sharing in iTunes and in iPad iPod settings.
