Just bought a Mac laptop a few days ago and have been trying to install Skype; but then an error occurred, that tells me, that Skype is an .exe file which is not applicable for Mac.

Do I need to download applications/software so that I can use an .exe file?

Or is there any alternative on this without downloading anything?

I've been using iMac and iPod Gen. 3 for quite some time now and yet, I still can't figure out, how to upload videos that have been downloaded from other websites using iMac to my iPod.

Apple said that I should download videos from iTunes. I looked for their instructions for iPod but then all information was for iTunes' videos only.

What if the videos were from a remote website? How can I transfer those videos to my iPod?

Hi guys, while I was at home using safari to browse the internet and when I log in to the site aviary.com, my browser generated an error message that I don't understand. Please see below the error message I pasted.

My Macbook pro 13 inch applications are gone and when I try to reinstall it, they still are not there.

The laptop keeps on freezing and going to a black screen.

I tried to contact Apple online, but they didn't help.  So do I need to go to the Apple store to fix it?

How do I fix it?

Hi Mac enthusiast, I am a new entrant in the world of Mac, I am posting here my problem in installing Toggl Desktop. While I am about to install this application, an error message pops up my screen, below is the error message screen I got.

Install Toggl Desktop

You cannot install Toggl Desktop on this volume. A

 newer version of this software already exists on this volume.

Since I am new to mac and I was a Windows user before, I am having a hard time solving this problem. I removed Toggl Desktop before, and decided to reinstall it again now. As I look at the error message, it still shows my previous installation that I removed.
