Hi people! I have a question and I hope you can assist me on this one… I am a gamer and planning to buy a high-end video card but I'm thinking what processor is the best but affordable? My friends are telling me that both processors are good (PHENOM AND ATHLON) so I don't know which one to choose.. I am looking for a second opinion, please give me an advise.. Thanks!

Will it harm my computer if I plug in a CAT5 cable (RJ-45 Jack)into my computer while it is running. If I plug in a one end of a cat5 (RJ-45 Jack)cable into my computer & leave the other end of the cable unplugged, Will the red cross disappear from my network adapters icon (in win2000, winxp or vista).

When I turn on the power of the computer, it boots up but nothing is displayed on the screen.  The graphics card is replaced but still no display is found on the screen.

I also try to reset the BIOS by removing the battery in CMOS. I try to remove the Random-access memory i.e. RAM and reinstall it and get the beeps.   But there is still no display.

Any one could help to figure out what is going on?  Many thanks.

I have a problem which i am not able to even diagnose whether it is  a hardware problem or a software one.

I need to know how to shut down my computer. I hit the shut down icon,

but nothing happens. It is not a virus,

some say it could be Trojan or Invader. I have run all sort of fix-it things, none helped .

Someone please help. It's tiresome to manually shut it down always.

I have recently purchased a new laptop. I already have a desktop computer at my home .When I told my friend about the new laptop that I have purchased they started going techyv and asked for some configuration details I was able to answer all that since they are frequent .And they also asked for the processor speed which I have never checked it ever before .So am here to get the different ways to check the processor speed .i would like to explore the world of knowledge.
