CPU Processors
I recently acquired a dual core processor for my PC, it is not much but it is a huge boost for me. I am trying to play next gen games and upgrading my system right now is impossible because of budgetary constraints. I heard that new games need tremendous processing power. I heard of overclocking and would like to try it. what are the risks involved?

I am a huge PC fan and the main thing I like about this system is overclocking which results in boosts in graphic capabilities. I heard it is possible to do so in recent mobile phones. I have the new HTC one and there is a quadcore process and I would really like to overclock it to see what happens?

I need to make a choice between the Intel 5960X and the 4X Xeon E7540 processor. I am a 3D artist, I design using 3D’s Max + Vray render, and I am looking to increase the render power of my machine. The two processor are equally effective. Now I want to know a little about the technical advantages of each from you techies here. I appreciate your help.

I had to overclock my CPU to boost its performance. I have a Core i3-530 and after overclocking, I could do 3.6ghz at stock volt. I have since overclocked it to 4.07ghz. Is it safe to stay overclocked at a point like 3.6ghz then reset back to default frequently or do a certain speed and leave it there. I am definitely concerned about power consumption and the longevity of my CPU. Help please.

I would like more CPU power when gaming. Currently, I have an 15 4570k CPU and I would like it to perform better or get a new one altogether. Should I go for an unlocked i5 and overclock it to improve performance and save money or should I settle for an i7 then overclock it?

I am looking for a good CPU that could help me run high graphics well. I have a tight budget so I have to settle for the AMD Fx or the Intel Core i7-5960k. Which is best and why would you rather have it? Is there any other better alternative?

Well, I’d like to upgrade my CPU processor to a latest release that I saw on the Intel Website. Okay, my processor is a 4th gen Intel core i7-4700MQ with 3.40Ghz but I want to upgrade to a 5th generation Intel core i7-555U that still has 3.40Ghz speed. I understand the 5th generations CPUs can handle better graphics. Is it a worthy upgrade? Will my HP-Envy i7 support the new CPU? Are there any other changes that will be needed or the new CPU to function correctly?

I read somewhere that the core clock of the Alienware Alpha can be boosted by around 135MHZ over the maximum 1097MHz. A laptop GTX 860 M memory speed reduction is also reversible compared to the desktop counterpart. You can wrap it from 5GBPS to 6GBPS. If I opt for one, what performance and overclocking should I expect? Since the GPU is not upgradable, what are the benefits of upgrading the memory or the CPU if I only want to use it for gaming?

AMD and Intel are the processor kings. However, both of them are popular almost equally. What are the major differences between the AMD and Intel processors? Which one should be chosen at the time of purchase? Which is the best after all? Are there any other processor makers which can be a challenge for the above mentioned giants?
