My post is about an error with installing MS Access. Lately this week I noticed some problem with my MS access application.

It loads very slow, so I decided to re-install it using the commercial CD installer.

When I am in the middle of the installation, an error occurred and the only button that appeared was closed and it did not suggest any reason and solution.

After I clicked on close, the installation process ended.

I am posting here an issue regarding my concern on MS Access. Whenever I create a new form, an error will pop up that says ActiveX component can't create object. This problem started when I got this new computer from our local computer vendor. Last week all my work seemed to do great.

While I was encoding some data for our inventory application made from Microsoft Access, I met an error message that said  that the application has encountered an error. It asked me to send the error report or don't send. But there is no notification on why the error occurred. Any suggestion on what to do.

I would like to know how to setup the OLEDB Destination dynamic SQL Table name in SSIS. I have designed the Raw File Source Tasks which would pick up the source files dynamically. And I connected the Source Task to an OLEDB Destination Task. The OLEDB Destination tasks SQL Table name should be changed dynamically.

I have tried using variable name. But in the Connection Editor page, I can’t select the Table Name variable which was declared previously. Please let me know the solution for this issue.

Looking for some piece of advice about what’s going on here.

I used a pivot table in Excel to connect to a table of the external data in access.

I used Microsoft query to return external data to a worksheet in Microsoft excel and every time I view the returned data and I received the following error message:

Syntax error in FROM clause.

I created a pivot table using external data in query or access database. There are no spaces in the names or other oddities that is why the query is extremely small and very simple. I used the very same and exact database on other computer and did not get the error.

Hi folks,

I was installing Oracle9i Application Server when suddenly got a problem. The pre-installation task were okay the setting of environment variable. I got at least 1GB of swap configured before I run the installer, I have a fully qualified domain name(FQDN) specified for the installation and I got no problem with that . But while I am installing the infrastructure, there are several errors occurred and some of them were said to be an expected behavior and fixed that already. The only thing that I haven't configured yet is the error saying:

I am going to install the oracle 10gR2 and got a problem. I have checked the hardware requirements and kernel requirements, installed required packages. I have set also the kernel parameters, created oracle user and groups. I also created the required directories for oracle base and change the ownership. I have set the session limits for oracle user. I have configured the oracle user’s environment, invoked OUI and during the installation OUI gives a warning that oracle database 10g is not certified on the current operating system and I still proceed to continue, OUI gives a dialog box with a warning,

“some recommended prerequisite checks have failed. You might get errors during installation. Do you want to proceed?”
