Hi everyone,

I am having a little problem here with my oracle database configuration. I have two clusters running. Will mention their name if someone replies to me. Problem is that when I connect to one of the clusters or even both of the nodes with it, all goes well status is displayed of the cluster etc. But if I click on the node which I am not pointing, the browser waits for a few moments and then gives the error just like in the image Unable to Detect Active Node List.

And at the same time one more error appears as Error Was Encountered in Connecting to the Oracle Database System. As a solution I tried to change password to one of the cluster as same as the ROOT password but it wont work. So can you tell me how it could be sorted out?

Please help as I am trying to set up SQL but been getting an error that says: "MsiGetProductInfo failed to retrieve ProductVersion for package with Product Code =__. Error code:1605". I don't know what's wrong because it's a genuine software.

  Did they give me the wrong one?

My client is waiting for me to set this one up for him and I only have few more days to go to perfect this. I honestly have no idea because this is the first time I encountered this error. Hoping for your kind consideration to answer this.

This is the first time that I got this error:

oracle.addDatabase("QOCI8"); // for an Oracle database

Output: QSqlDatabase: QOCI8 driver not loaded
Output: QSqlDatabase: available drivers: QSQLLite

I'm a newbie and have no time to play with it. I guess I need to configure something in here. There's no oracle database online class I can find.

Versions: Oracle 10g 
                  JDK 1.6 
                  Tomcat 6 

 I am trying to connect to a MySQL server using a Java program. I always get this error when trying to connect:

SQL Exception: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '????????????????' at line 1

I have Microsoft Office installed in my new laptop along with Windows XP 32 bit SP3.

I have a problem regarding Microsoft Excel. I can't seem to open Excel properly. Every time I tried to open Excel, there's a message box shows up with a message "Please wait while Microsoft Office configures with Front Page".

I have tried to wait for some time hoping it will finish but no such luck so I click cancel button.

I tried re-opening Excel again, but the same error message showed up all the time. 

I need to have Excel working soon since I have plenty of work to do. Can anyone tell me what should I do ?

I need some help. I want to develop a web application that uses MySQL database in the backend. I developed the database. I have created the table name person_info that stores detailed information about different person’s information. Now I want to use it to store uploaded image in a column for a record.

So I searched for a different slob and encryption related information on forums but I didn’t get that. I also need some help related to uploading a file to server. Because of that, I am using a form to submit all my information but can catch the image in the server. So I need some help for uploading image and how to store that image in the server? I am operating a Windows 7 Home Premium OS with successfully installed MS SQL Server 2005 and Netbeans version 7.0 beta. Everything is working properly without any problem in software. I want to develop a Java project which is to be connected to a MS SQL Server database.

I am facing a problem that the Netbeans IDE is unable to connect with MS SQL Server database. The databases Node is shown in the Services Window when I click it, SQL Server is not shown but I can see Java DB database. I have registered the JDBC driver for MS SQL Server with Netbeans, but still I don't know how to connect to the database.

I'm a software developer who develops both desktop applications and web applications. My preferable database when developing desktop applications would be MS SQL Server. Sometimes I use Sybase SQL Anywhere and MS Access Database.

Recently I heard that MySQL can be used for desktop applications. I only use MySQL for web applications but if it's true that MySQL can be used in desktop environment as well that would be great I can connect both web and desktop applications to MySQL and interact with each other.
