I had a Program Error after installing Adobe Photoshop 7.0 in my Linux Debian. I re-installed the program but still encountered this serious problem when running Photoshop. Is there a way that I can recover from this problem?Can someone please help?

I installed the Debian GNU/Linux operating system and ran into a problem after installing. It simply stopped and showed a screen that kept flashing the Debian logo and nothing else. There was no way to enter anything on the keyboard so I used scrolling to look for an error message but found none. I restarted the system and got the following error message:

I am curious as to why I’m seeing MS DOS5 when I am installing Linux software? Please advise me on what to do. Thanks.

I used Debian Squeeze XFCE and I am having issues updating the Debian Mirror. The error that I am receiving is: “Could not download all repository indexes.” This appears after accessing the sources and selecting a different mirror. I attached a copy of the complete error message that I am receiving. I hope that someone can send me some helpful tips and information on solving this. Thank you.

I play this online game called Heroes of Newerth on a virtual machine (using Virtual Box) in Debian.

Whenever i try and run the game through Garena Plus, i always get this:

The game doesn't load. Is there anything i need to set on the virtual machine settings to get the game to work?

I am a user of Linux mint debian 11 the problem is when I try to copy some files from a SD card to the hard disk it fails.

I have also tried to change the ownership but all in vain.

I am using linux mint debine, the problem is I am having strange fonts when I type something on LibreOffice, Skype and qtconfig. I found a guide which fixed the office but in skype and qtconfig it is the same problem.

There are many other operating system in computer world  or it world. I know windows 98, 2000,

2003, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 are nice version . I am using also Windows XP . I want to 

use new operating system like Linux . I also do not know it is easy or hard to use . If I change 

Windows XP and installed Linux how . And If i want to use that,s two operating system how it,s

I am not very much familiar with using an OS Linux server. I already experienced hardware failure which made me panic.

So I want to make sure all will be recorded before problems like that happen again.

I want to know how to check Linux Error Log Files under Cento or Debian type of server.

I already checked mine, and it was too big.

It is several megabytes bigger. Is there anything I can do to make it look smaller? 

I am using Tigase server. I tried to setup proxy_mod of apache to forward HTTP traffic from AJAX Jabber client to the Bosh component. The same was working fine with GENTOO server. It was a system based on the Debian and the proxy_mod didn't work displaying the error messages in the log file as mentioned in the image. How to resolve the issue?
