I’ve been using AVAST Anti-virus scanner my problem is I scheduled the scan every Monday, as it scans it doesn’t show any signs that it is already running I just knew it when its done because it signals finished scanning and when I open it to check if there is any detected virus, I cant find its results. Is it really like that or it will show if there is any scanned virus? Is there a possibility that my anti virus is damaged?

I have two security softwares activated in my pc accidentally and it is causing trouble. I previously had kaspersky Internet security installed and recently I have installed Norton internet security which is causing the pc the to freeze and it does not enable me a single operation to begin with the startup. I have recently updated my avast antivirus and now then I see it there has been an error with it which shows that system is unprotected and it is not going into active mode.

It is as if it has gotten virus through the update process. Now someone kindly help me with this process since it is creating a lot more trouble than usual.

Before installing kaspersky antivirus i uninstalled the previously installed avast antivirus.

But after installing the new one,previously installed avast appeared again and not uninstalling.

Now, how to uninstall avast antivirus?
