I have a worm, there is no doubt.I am saving my photos to Picasa/Google and plan to wipe the hard drive clean and reinstall windows 7.
Here are the question. Can I email to myself some documents(maybe 20) via yahoo mail and when i 'm back up running download them back?
Can or does the worm have a chance of reinfecting the computer again!!!

I get a virus alert each time I start my computer. I made sure that I have all the latest updates and patches on my Windows XP SP 3. At start up I get the following message.
“Note: This does not harm your computer as it does not contain virus” and once I click on Yes or No option I get the following alert.
“Warning a virus has been detected on your PC. Press YES to format your hard disk now or NO to format your hard disk after system reboot”
I see that the system timings have been changed and the system automatically shuts down as soon as the time reaches 12:00. I tried to perform a scan and found that my Antivirus has been disabled.

Hi guys,
My computer is infected by a virus, that is eating up all my empty hard disk space. It is very surprising that my Antivirus application is not able to remove this virus.
The virus is detected, but cannot be removed. This virus is called the newfolder.exe virus
I did some research online, as to how to remove this virus since my Antivirus software cannot remove it.
I found some tools to remove it automatically, but I think that I am doing something wrong because it is not being removed.
Can someone help me with this or is there some way to remove this virus manually?

Hello Good Day to everyone!
I just want to know what are the other ways to remove Virus in the computer. Apart from Safety mode and Restore Factory Settings. It takes time when I do those actions.
I have a License Norton Antivirus 2009 but whenever a virus will detect in the system it cannot be fully removed from the computer.
To think that this Antivirus is copyright and genuine. Just like the files that shown below that I want to delete after I fully scan the computer;

I am trying to install Comodo Antivirus but a box told me that I can't install it to my system due to
Windows Installer is not accessible
Installation can't continue because the Windows Installer could not be accessed
Error code: 1601
I opened the Task Manager Window and checked if there is another installation process running. To make sure, I end the process of each .exe that is familiar to me. But I still cannot continue. How can I know if my Windows installer is corrupted? Can I completely remove it from my computer?
